Registered collectors receive private Early Access on 27 February, 24 hours before the public release, with first access to every photograph, size and edition, plus priority access to the earliest available edition numbers. Registration also includes entry into our exclusive collector draw. Three collectors will each receive a signed, numbered, limited edition 20 × 16 in print from the collection.

With editions strictly limited, some may sell out early. Early Access offers the best opportunity to secure your preferred photograph, size and edition number before the public release.

Once the limited edition print drop closes on 14 March, these editions will never be available again.

For more than a decade, Alex Strohl has developed one of the most distinctive visual languages in contemporary outdoor photography, cinematic, atmospheric and shaped by a lifelong fascination with wild places. The American West has always been part landscape, part mythology. Its mountains, open roads and vast horizons have inspired generations of photographers and filmmakers. For Strohl, they have also been a place to return to again and again, creating an extraordinary archive of hundreds of thousands of photographs. Alex Strohl and Pop Culture Originals have spent months exploring that archive together. From an edit of thirty photographs, eight have been chosen for this first release of The American West Collection.

Pop Culture Originals is a contemporary photography platform collaborating with select photographers from around the world on carefully curated, time limited releases. Each photograph is released as a strictly limited edition print, available only during the drop. Once it closes, the work is never released again. Spanning culture, celebrity, music, fashion, film and landscape, each release has its own energy, audience and moment.
