THE STORY

Built in 1964, the year of the Tokyo Olympics, the Ohjo Building began as a place for music and words, later transforming with the city’s desires - cabaret, karaoke, izakaya. For over half a century, it quietly accumulated layers of pleasure and time, until it came to a halt in February 2020. Inside this structure, a woman appears. She does not speak. She simply exists.
Leaning, hanging, dissolving - she slightly shifts the weight of time.
Just a brief breath within time.

Future releases will feature artists including Aoi Yamada & Mumuko, Martina Matencio, Alex Strohl and Tatsuo Suzuki.
